Palaceside Building repainted the east elevator hall walls—they look renewed. No dramatic color change like white to red
, so some may not have noticed.
Work began mid-December last year, finished during the year-end break—walls and ceilings both refreshed for the new year.
Paint degrades over time; near elevator doors, carts had left damage as in photo bottom top.
Colors are nearly unchanged, but ring-light borders
shifted from whitish ＝photo left to slightly darker ＝photo bottom.
During work only four of eight elevators ran at a time
—thank you for your patience.
Only the east hall was done; the west hall is planned for fiscal 2015 (timing TBD).
