A handrail has been installed on the lower section of Tokyo Metro Takebashi Station Exit 1b.
Between the west-side ticket gates (toward Kudanshita) and the Takebashi intersection exit, midway between the escalator to Palaceside Building and the newspaper company entrance.

Palaceside Building manages these stairs; a shutter closes them at night, so handrails previously ended above that point

In late November a user inquiry reached us via Tokyo Metro customer service through Takebashi Station. We agreed immediately, arranged contractors, and completed work on December 14 (Sunday).
A small improvement, but we continue striving for a safer, more comfortable building.
