The blood donation bus at the west entrance of Palaceside Building on the 8th drew 47 visitors in all, and 38 people donated. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Rainy weather made conditions poor, and with few passers-by beyond building staff, the total was about 10 below recent averages.
One special factor: last year's drive was on September 9, and women who also donated in spring could not give again—annual limit 800 ml for women (1,200 ml for men)—because they were one day short of the one-year mark. Five or six such cases were reported.
