Pro golfer Ryo Ishikawa's results have been somewhat lackluster lately. Many golf fans hope engagement will bring a fresh start and great play.
Ishikawa set the world-lowest score two years ago, on May 2, 2010. Round 4 of the 51st Chunichi Crowns—chip-in birdies and more piled up in no time to "58." Par 70, two under normal at Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course, yet 12 under par—a stunning record.
Ishikawa himself called it shots and putts "as if the golf god descended." Totals of 68,

70, 71, 58—267 overall, winning by five strokes over Hiroyuki Fujita and P. Si-han.
That "58" scorecard, clubs, shoes, bag, and full set are displayed in a glass case in the club restaurant—donated by Ishikawa as a memento, delighting golfers visiting prestigious "Wago." One cannot help praying, "That thrill once more!"
Ishikawa is also image character for Mynavi Inc., headquartered at Palaceside Building.
