Tanabata decorations have made their debut at Palaceside Building starting this week. Colorful streamers and bamboo leaf decorations for tying paper strips are lined up on the 1st floor and basement 1st floor (B1F) of the building, creating a festive atmosphere.
There are 15 large streamers adorning the open atrium, 9 of which are luxurious Japanese paper streamers measuring up to 3.5 meters long that were displayed at the Sendai Tanabata Festival, known as one of the "Three Great Festivals of Tohoku." There is also a corner where visitors can write their wishes on paper strips, and visitors were seen tying their written wishes to the bamboo leaf decorations. The paper strips with wishes written on them are scheduled to be dedicated to Kanda Myojin.
