Winners of the Palaceside Building’s “New Year Senryu Contest” have been selected. The winning verses were posted on the 4th in the east popup space on the first basement level. The grand prize went to “This view, / before I hand over / a business card” (Numa).
The second annual contest drew 247 entries. After judging by Mainichi Building Co., Ltd., 14 works were chosen: one grand prize, two excellence awards, ten prizes, plus one “60th Anniversary Award” marking the Palaceside Building’s 60th year this October.
Winners are asked to bring identification to the Mainichi Building Co. office on the east side of the fifth floor of the Palaceside Building by 4:00 p.m. on Friday the 27th of this month to collect their prizes.
