Halloween decorations for the autumn season appeared on the 29th on the first basement level and first floor of the Palaceside Building. The building’s Halloween display began last year; this year a giant green monster has arrived on B1.
Halloween is celebrated every year on October 31. Traditions include carving jack-o’-lanterns from pumpkins and children in costume going door to door for treats.
This year’s theme imagines the monster getting ready for the festival, welcoming visitors as it does. The “Stairway of Dreams” linking B1 and the first floor is brightly dressed with pumpkins in many colors, heightening the sense of anticipation.
