An advanced lifesaving course for employees of tenant companies in the Palaceside Building was held on the 10th at Mainichi Hall on the building's first basement level, where the 38 participants learned how to operate an AED (automated external defibrillator) and acquired the skills and knowledge needed to assist people suddenly taken ill or injured.

The course begins at 9 a.m. and continues until evening, with a break for lunch. Centered on hands-on practice with training mannequins, it covers CPR techniques such as chest compressions and rescue breathing, along with first aid, removal of airway obstructions, and methods for carrying the injured.

Since 2014, the Palaceside Building has organized advanced lifesaving courses for its tenants with the goal of having at least one certified course graduate at every office in the building.
