Half a year has passed since Chiyoda Ward began trial operation of its community bus “Kazeguruma” on the Kanda route. Over this weekend’s construction work, the stone-block stop sign for “Mainichi Shimbun,” in front of the Palaceside Building’s main entrance, was replaced with an in-ground marker.
The Kanda route runs from Chiyoda Ward Office via “Mainichi Shimbun” in front of the Palaceside Building to Akihabara, Kanda, Shin-Nihombashi, and back to the ward office. Service began on May 8. A 35-seat electric minibus runs four trips a day, five days a week except Mondays and Tuesdays. The fare is 100 yen.
Departure times at the “Mainichi Shimbun” stop are 10:00 a.m., 12:18 p.m., 2:28 p.m., and 4:49 p.m. Please use it when heading toward Akihabara, Kanda, or Nihombashi.
