The Palaceside Building Meitenkai (Yukimasa Shimada, chair), a volunteer group of restaurants and shops in the building, has been holding a “Halloween Garapon Lottery” with lavish prizes since this month. Customers who use member shops receive one lottery ticket for every 2,500 yen spent, and one bonus ticket for every 500 yen (five bonus tickets equal one draw). Please join in.
Prizes are as shown on the poster above. First prize is three popular hair dryers; second prize, three hot plates; third prize, 30 food catalog gifts; then disaster-preparedness goods, bath salts, meal vouchers, and more. The Mainichi Newspapers has provided five pair tickets to “Haniwa and Dogu in the Modern Age,” now on view at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo; Mainichi Building Co. has provided three travel vouchers worth 100,000 yen each.
The lottery runs for three days from Tuesday the 29th of this month, twice daily: (1) 11:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and (2) 5:00–7:00 p.m. Stay tuned!!
