A four-day made-to-order suit fair for men and women by Miyuki Keori, a maker of premium menswear fabrics, opened on the 16th in the free space beside the main entrance on the building's first floor, running through the 19th. The limited-time outpost of "Miyuki Crafts Suits," a store operated by Miyuki Keori, offers made-to-order suits along with items at special prices.
According to the store, Miyuki Keori has pursued the highest quality for more than a century since its founding in 1905. As a fabric maker with intimate knowledge of Japanese physiques and Japan's climate, it has sought the ideal form only such a maker can achieve: sleeves crafted for comfortable wear, hidden techniques that flatter the line from waist to hip, ease built into the shoulder lining for a supported fit, and a waist that hugs the body while staying relaxed. An array of such techniques underpins the Miyuki brand.
Made-to-order suits start at 44,000 yen for one and 77,000 yen for two. Ready-made items are also on offer at special prices -- suits for 16,500 yen, jackets for 11,000 yen and trousers for 5,500 yen -- with a further 20 percent off purchases of two or more items. Neckties, genuine leather belts and knit polo shirts are also on sale.
