"To people troubled by skin problems, we want to deliver this from Kyoto." With that wish, ICHI Cosmetics, launched in 2004, will hold a promotional event on the 23rd and 24th at the popup store on the east side of the Palaceside Building's first basement, giving away trial skincare sets for free.
According to ICHI International Inc., the water at the base of ICHI Cosmetics is spring water drawn from an underground vein 300 meters below the Tateyama range of the Northern Alps, a soft water of hardness 20 mg/l. It sits well on the skin and, rich in minerals, supports metabolism and the barrier function. Drawing on Japanese food culture, the formulas also balance selected ingredients such as Uji tea-leaf extract and Fushimi sake-kasu extract, both valued for moisture.
At the event from the 23rd, the popular trial set will be given away upon registration on the official LINE account or Instagram, and ICHI series products will be sold at 20 percent off, including a "Thank You Gift Set" marking the brand's 20th year.
