The Tokyo Metropolitan Red Cross Blood Center has stationed a blood donation bus in front of the Palaceside Building's west entrance today and is calling for donations. Reception is for one hour in the morning and from 12:30 to 4 p.m. in the afternoon. Please lend your support.
The Palaceside Building hosts a blood-drive venue with a donation bus twice a year, in spring and autumn. According to the Kanto-Koshinetsu Block Blood Center, donors typically decline in April, and stocks of type O transfusion products (red blood cell products) in particular have fallen.
The center says, "To deliver blood reliably to medical institutions, we ask for your continued cooperation with blood donation."
