Restaurant 111 (ICHI ICHI ICHI), whose open kitchen offers an overwhelming sense of space, began lunch service this week on the 1st. The stylish interior, rich in greenery and wood, has a natural warmth, and from the counter seats you can watch the chefs at work. The grand opening, including dinner, is scheduled for the 17th of this month.

The restaurant is French-based; lunch offers a wide menu of fresh-noodle pasta, salads, hamburgers and more. Besides in-house lunch sets with soup or salad, boxed lunches and sandwiches are sold for takeout (eat-in is also possible). Dinner is served as a counter bistro with a la carte and courses. A private room at the back is a special space where a chef cooks right in front of you. Catering is planned for the future.

Chef Takeshi Inoue, who founded operator Lepus Inc., began at Ginza Renga-tei and gained experience in French and bistro kitchens, then after time in France served as chef at Daikanyama Tableaux. Head chef Masato Igarashi of 111 has worked as a French chef at L'ATELIER de Joël Robuchon and Florilège and as executive chef at LB8 and L'IGNIS.

There are about 50 seats. Hours are weekdays 11:30 a.m.–3 p.m. and 5:30–10 p.m. 111 will share menu news on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/111_ichi.ichi.ichi).
