Ahead of tax-return filing (February 16–March 15), the Kojimachi Branch of the Tokyo Certified Public Tax Accountants' Association opened its regular free consultation on the 7th in the free space beside the main entrance on the first floor. It runs for three days through the 9th, with tax accountants available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The consultations are in principle for salary earners. If you have employment income and (1) paid substantial medical costs, (2) made specified donations such as hometown tax, or (3) have a housing loan for a qualifying home purchase, please come and ask, including about how to file.
