With a large standing signboard of the adorable mascot Kyoro-chan marking the storefront, a two-day sales event by confectioner Morinaga began on the 1st at a former shop site on the first basement floor of the Palaceside Building. The star attractions are the "Kyoro-chan Sweets Fun Bag," containing 1,900 yen worth of sweets for 1,100 yen, and the "Morinaga Fun Bag," holding 1,400 yen worth for 1,000 yen — both drawing crowds, especially among female shoppers.

Morinaga's sales events have previously been held in the free space beside the building's first-floor main entrance, making this the first at the former shop site. Longtime favorites such as Chocoball, Koeda, Angel Pie and Hi-Chew lined the shelves at bargain prices, alongside biscuits and cookies, various protein products, amazake and more.

During the lunch hour on the first day, diners streamed into the shop one after another and lines formed at the register, filling the store with bustle. Opening hours run until 6 p.m. on the first day and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 2nd.
