A one-person soundproof booth, Telecube, has made its first appearance beside the photo booth on the east side of the first basement floor, and operations begin on November 1. In a comfortable private space that shuts out surrounding noise and protects security and privacy, work and task efficiency will surely rise. Please give it a try.

V-cube, Inc. has offered Telecube since 2017 to solve office workers' complaint that they had nowhere to hold web meetings; it is a pioneer among booths in Japan. Easy installation in many places, plus rising telework demand during COVID-19, has pushed domestic installations past 10,000 as of the end of last year, according to the company.

The booth has a table, chair and power outlets and an online environment, so it is suitable for drafting documents, email, phone calls and web meetings. Membership is required; for individual members the fee is
