Tokyo’s “Fureai Road Program” works with residents and companies on street cleaning and planting, aiming to create a more pleasant road space. Mainichi Building Co., which manages the Palaceside Building, had its work recognized again this year and received a certificate from the metropolitan government.

The stage is the metropolitan Kojimachi-Takehira line (Uchibori-dori), sandwiched between the Palaceside Building and the Imperial Palace moat. Besides tending the crape myrtle trees that bloom so finely in summer, we repair damaged boxwood along the sidewalk to keep the green vivid.

We will continue to work on a road environment worthy of a building next to the Imperial Palace and Kitanomaru Park.
