The blood drive we hold each spring and autumn will run on Wednesday, April 7, and Thursday, April 8. Hours are 10:00–11:00 a.m. and 12:15–4:00 p.m. Reception is in the west first-floor entrance hall of the Palaceside Building; the donation bus waits at the door.

Infection controls at the site have been strengthened: hand disinfection, temperature checks, ventilation and cleaning, and of course masks. Please bring a donor card or donor handbook; if you take medication, a medicine notebook; and if this is your first donation, ID or a staff badge.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Red Cross Blood Center, the pandemic has left a serious, continuing drop in donors. On average about 3,000 patients a day need transfusions for illness or injury. Blood cannot be made artificially. Please help us get it to those patients.
