"Spanish Multinational Bar Abiding" has opened on the first basement of the Palaceside Building. It is the newest restaurant in the building — and the first Spanish one — so we went for lunch with colleagues.
Mention Spanish food and paella comes first. You can choose chicken or seafood. We chose chicken, and the meat was tender and easy to eat. Soup and salad come with it. The women ordered fragrant roast chicken with mate tea and salt-grilled salmon. Generous rice fills you up. Those plates also come with soup and salad.
Lunch also listed pork ginger and hand-kneaded beef hamburg. At the storefront they sell takeout paella and more.
For now they are open only at lunch, but dinner dishes are in preparation. The planned menu includes Basque-style tomato stew, Valencia-style Iberico pork sauté, beef cheek braised in red wine, roast beef, Spanish omelet, octopus salpicon (marinade), anchovy cabbage, various ajillo, various salads, and bagna cauda with seasonal vegetables.
Hearing that, you want to linger over wine and conversation. Stay tuned!
