"Chiyoda Ward Simultaneous Cleanup Day," previewed on this blog last week, was held on November 6. The Palaceside Building too saw 152 tenant employees and others take part and work hard picking up trash =photo above.
The cleanup, based on the Chiyoda Living Environment Ordinance, is held every June and November so people can beautify the streets themselves. The Palaceside Building has had a perfect attendance from the start.

On a fine autumn day we gathered at 8 a.m., a little chilly, in front of the west entrance, took tongs, work gloves and bags prepared by the building, and spread through the plantings and sidewalks around the building, collecting scraps, cigarette butts, empty cans and PET bottles for about 30 minutes. Bags were gathered in front of the east main entrance =photo right and filled thirteen 45-liter bags of combustibles, non-combustibles, glass, cans and PET bottles. What the cleanup collects is picked up by Chiyoda Ward; we put on dedicated orange stickers and left them at the designated place =photo below.
Participants included 76 from NTT Business Associate, 35 from FamilyMart and 5 from Lacras, plus building staff and facilities, cleaning and other contractors.
To everyone who joined, thank you truly for your hard work.
