On April 13 and 14 a mobile blood drive by donation bus was held in front of Palaceside Building’s west entrance. Eighty-one people came over two days, and 76 donated (69 at 400 milliliters, 7 at 200). Thank you, as always, for your help.

an explanation at reception inside the west entrance=(photos at right, below). Then you step out to the bus parked at the porte-cochère=(photo above). Inside, after a doctor’s interview and a simple blood test, the draw=(photo at left) — about 30 minutes if it is not crowded.

Recent results here (reception / actual draws): September 9, 2013, 63 / 54; April 4 and 7, 2014, two-day totals 94 / 81; September 8, 2014, 47 / 38; February 3, 2015, 72 / 54; September 29–30, 2015, two-day 111 / 95; March 29 and April 4, 2016, two-day 84 / 80; September 29–30, 2016, two-day 90 / 75. This time was about as usual.
