“Chiyoda Ward Cleanup Day” was held again this year; 141 people from Palaceside Building, including tenant employees, walked and picked up trash with zeal (photo above).

The cleanup, under the Chiyoda Living Environment Ordinance, is held each June and November so residents and people who work here can beautify the streets they live and work on. Palaceside Building has taken part from the start.

This year’s first was June 6, two days before the rainy season. At 8:00 a.m. they gathered in front of the west entrance at Takebashi Crossing. After receiving work gloves, trash tongs and bags, they fanned out around the building and sweated for about 30 minutes.

Regular large turnouts: NTT Business Associe in matching yellow fluorescent windbreakers (34 this time), NTT Business Associe Partners in orange (26), FamilyMart in black jumpers (30), MS&AD Systems (11). Building staff and partner-company people for facilities and cleaning worked just as hard.

Picked-up trash was gathered in front of the east main entrance (photo at right): 14 bags of 45 liters (10 burnable; one each unburnable, bottles, cans, PET).

To all who took part, truly, thank you for the effort.
