An “ID PHOTO STUDIO” that shoots ID photos at speed has appeared on the first-basement east of Palaceside Building. It is already running.
In more detail: go down the central stairs of the east main entrance to B1 and it is on the left. In front of Teketeke, beside O-kiraku Shokudo. Two cigarette machines in the poster-board row were shifted a little toward Teketeke to make room.

Hours are weekdays and Saturdays 5:30 a.m.–11:30 p.m. (while the west entrance is open); Sundays and holidays it is closed.
For generations who remember machines that never got a good shot, this high-performance unit is a surprise (already dated!).
Main specs: a clean 12-megapixel digital camera; a skin-smoothing finish; prints in a mere 15 seconds. Screen and voice guides are kind; follow the prompts and you are fine. Languages besides Japanese: English, Chinese, Korean and Portuguese — international. An “industry first” free-size function lets you set not only résumé (40×30 mm), driver’s license (30×24 mm) and passport (45×35 mm) but any size from 20×20 to 70×70 mm in 1-millimeter steps.
Price is 800 yen for six résumé or passport prints, or eight license-size. Extra prints 200 yen each. Skin-smoothing +100 yen.
The building has job-support “Mynavi” and travel “Mainichi Travel,” so résumé and passport photos, perhaps — the first-floor reception often got “is there an ID-photo machine?” From now on, no problem. If you need a sudden shot, please do use it.
