On March 29 and April 4 an outreach blood drive by bloodmobile was held in front of the west entrance of Palaceside Building. Over two days 84 people came and 80 donated (78 of 400 milliliters, 2 of 200). Thank you for your help.

Recent results here (reception / draws) were September 9, 2013, 63 / 54; April 4 and 7,

2014, 94 / 81 over two days; September 8, 2014, 47 / 38; February 3, 2015, 72 / 54; September 29–30, 111 / 95. This time again overlapped with full bloom; March 29 had the Imperial Palace Inui-dori opening, but both days were a little cold or overcast, weather only so-so, and the figures were a little under 2014, also in cherry season — still a solid number.

With many disasters in recent years and a rise in corporate social-responsibility awareness, many individuals, firms and workplaces actively help. This time The Mainichi Newspapers and others told staff by mass email that the drive was on.

Main workplace turnout: The Mainichi Newspapers 19; NTT Business Associe and NTT Business Associe Partners 17; NTT Data and NTT Data I 11; Marubeni Utility Service 7; FamilyMart 4. Thank you.

We can only hope this support eases the chronic blood shortage a little. If you could not donate this time, please, if possible, next time.
